Come Play Mahjong
Lessons - $35
New to Mahjong? Learn the basics in a small group lesson designed to get you comfortable at the table and ready to play independently.
Guided Play - $35
Know the basics but not quite ready to play on your own? Join a guided game where I’ll help you through the deal, Charleston, choosing a direction for your hand, and making decisions as you play.
Open Play - $25
Already know how to play? Join one of our weekly American Mahjong open play sessions. I’ll organize tables based on experience, playing preferences, and seating requests.
What to Expect
Everything is provided
Tiles, mats, pushers, and current NMJL cards are available for you to use.

Light refreshments
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included. You are welcome to BYOB as well.
Easy Arrival
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can get everyone seated and ready to play.
About Roundwell Mahjong
Roundwell Mahjong was created to give local players a welcoming place to learn, play, and connect over American Mahjong.
I’m Allison Caldwell Roundtree, and I started teaching Mahjong to friends after moving to the area in 2022 mostly because I wanted more people to play with! I love seeing how much fun the game can be when people have a comfortable place to gather.
Whether you’re learning for the first time, looking for a new place to play, or hoping to meet new people with a shared interest, my goal is to make it easy to walk in, feel welcome, and enjoy playing.
